AI’s New Role in Business at GITEX AI Türkiye

We at X Mind Solutions attended the second day of GITEX AI Türkiye. Our most striking observation was that AI is no longer confined to specific product categories. Examples ranging from coffee machines to satellites that navigate using AI demonstrated just how diverse its applications have become. This variety suggests that we should view AI less as a standalone technology and more as part of the infrastructure of everyday life and business.

What we encountered across software development, manufacturing, retail, hardware, data centers, robotics, education, defense, and communications brought the same question to the fore: Is AI a feature added to a product, or an element that redefines how that product works? The broad perspective offered by the exhibition highlighted the importance of the second approach. We need to consider not only products that use AI, but also how processes and business models are taking shape.

For businesses, this observation means that AI decisions should not be reduced to choosing tools. When evaluating a solution, it is important to consider together the need it addresses, where it fits into existing workflows, and how employees will use it. At X Mind Solutions, where we build AI agents, automation workflows, and system integrations, we approach the diversity we saw at the exhibition with this holistic perspective. Our focus is on evaluating technology within its business context and asking the right questions.

AI literacy is another important dimension of this transformation. We believe that growing adoption in Türkiye should be accompanied by the ability to understand the technology and assess it in an informed way. This need extends beyond technology teams to managers, employees, SMEs, entrepreneurs, and students. Understanding a tool’s limitations and being able to question its output are just as important as learning what it can do. Understanding the transformation in business requires a shared foundation for learning.

Another valuable aspect of GITEX AI Türkiye for us was the opportunity to connect directly with the ecosystem. Reconnecting with familiar faces, speaking with people we had not seen in a long time, and meeting new people allowed us to consider developments in technology through different experiences. Brief conversations in the exhibition corridors also offered meaningful insights into who is working on which topics. We thank everyone we met and value gatherings like these as opportunities for mutual learning and exchanging ideas.
