AgentCon Istanbul: AI Agents and the Development Process

At AgentCon Istanbul, the Istanbul stop of the AI Agents World Tour, we at X Mind Solutions met with developers discussing the future of AI agents and how they are built. Talks, demos and opportunities to meet new people were highlights of our event experience. As a team that builds AI agents, automation workflows and system integrations for businesses, we saw this gathering as a space for learning and exchange directly relevant to our work.

Alongside similar gatherings around the world, AgentCon Istanbul brings AI enthusiasts together under the umbrella of an international event series. Being among developers at the Istanbul stop was a valuable opportunity to explore agent technologies not just through products, but also through the questions and experiences of the people building them. Beyond the talks and demos, the personal connections we made were an important part of the experience.

Our focus at the event was as much on how AI agents are developed as on their future. These two topics need to be considered together: assessing what an agent can do cannot be separated from the question of what task it should be designed for and how. Sharing a space with developers and watching demos inspired us to consider ideas in this field alongside concrete applications, while also deepening our interest in the development side.

For business applications, the questions to ask when watching a demo go beyond the functionality on display. What task will the agent take on, which systems will it connect to and at which steps will it need human approval? These are not conclusions we attribute to any specific presentation at the event; they are fundamental questions we consider important at X Mind Solutions when evaluating AI agents in the context of business processes. Connecting interest in technology with practical implementation needs is central to this perspective.

The community coming together was just as important to our AgentCon Istanbul experience as the technical content.
