New Stress Tests for the KobiGPT On-Prem AI Infrastructure

In our KobiGPT On-Prem stress tests, we assess different open-source language model families for GPU utilization, RAM consumption, concurrent request capacity, response times and system stability. At X Mind Solutions, our aim is to provide secure, scalable and sustainable AI infrastructure for SMEs and enterprises through appropriate orchestration and resource optimization.

At X Mind Solutions, we are continuing stress tests with next-generation open-source language models on our KobiGPT On-Prem infrastructure. We assess different model families not only for their ability to run, but also for the load they place on the infrastructure. Through this work, we remain focused on our goal of providing secure, scalable and sustainable AI infrastructure for SMEs and enterprises. Our assessment centers on resource utilization, concurrent request capacity, response times and system stability.

As the open-model ecosystem evolves, choosing models for enterprise AI infrastructure requires a more comprehensive technical assessment. Updates to NVIDIA GPU architectures in particular are making memory management and orchestration increasingly important alongside performance. That is why we do not treat models in isolation from the infrastructure in our KobiGPT On-Prem tests. Our evaluation approach is based on considering both the resources a model requires and how the system manages those resources.

Our tests cover GPU utilization, RAM consumption, concurrent request capacity, response times and system stability. Each of these criteria addresses a different operational question: Which resources does the model use, how does the system handle simultaneous requests, and how long does it take to generate a response? By assessing different model families against these criteria, we conduct an evaluation that goes beyond any single performance metric.

Getting a model up and running in an on-premises AI environment does not mean the infrastructure work is complete. Orchestration, which coordinates requests and computing resources, resource optimization and stability under sustained load are just as important as model selection. Our KobiGPT On-Prem stress tests therefore look beyond whether the system is running at a given moment. Assessing system behavior under load is an important part of understanding the infrastructure’s technical requirements.

For SMEs and enterprises, the value of AI infrastructure depends both on a model’s capabilities and on the ability to use those capabilities sustainably. In our KobiGPT On-Prem work, we therefore pursue security, scalability and sustainability as goals, while continuing tests focused on resource utilization and operational stability. Our approach is to evaluate model selection and infrastructure management together rather than separately, addressing both areas in tandem for enterprise use.

Perguntas frequentes

Which models are being tested on the KobiGPT On-Prem infrastructure?
We are conducting stress tests with next-generation open-source language models and different model families. Our assessment focuses not on getting a single model to run, but on the models’ resource utilization and behavior under load.
Which technical metrics are examined in the stress tests?
We examine GPU utilization, RAM consumption, concurrent request capacity, response times and system stability. By considering these metrics together, we avoid assessing the infrastructure solely on response speed.
Why is orchestration important in on-premises AI?
Orchestration plays a role in coordinating requests and computing resources. Beyond running the model, it is also important to optimize resource utilization and keep the system stable under sustained load.
What is the goal of the KobiGPT On-Prem tests?
We aim to provide secure, scalable and sustainable AI infrastructure for SMEs and enterprises. The ongoing stress tests focus on assessing resource utilization and operational stability across different model families on the infrastructure.
